The STORY

I have a strong resaurant background beginning with bussing tables at the age 14. Throughout the course of the next 7 years I moved through the ranks becoming a server working at places like Greggs and Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse. WIth Bugaboo, in about a year period of time I rode the wave of growth with the company joining as a server, becoming a head server, and then a corporate trainer before I became the youngest manager in the company by age 23. A few years later I returned to servering, however, at the fine-dining level. At this level of dining I honed my table-side service skills at Hemenways, Raphael's and Mill's Tavern growing my understanding of complimenting food with sauces and pairing wine.  â€‹

Although I have worked at many more restaurants then stated above I spent very little time in the kitchen. I don't claim to be a chef by any stretch of the imagination, however, I do have a passion for great food and delicious wine and can hold my own in the kitchen as well as the outdoor grill. As an everyday kind of home cook who enjoys food with plenty of flavor and a zing with my food I subsequently became a frustrated food shopper. I have been frustrated for quite some time with everyday national and regional super markets carrying the same sauces year in and year out....BORING.

Recently, like working fine-dining, it has become very important to me to recognize each guest's/customer's tastes and preferences in order to provide the best possible shopping and eating experience. Historically, my goal was never to be a sales person to bump up my check averages, it was more important to me that my guests walk away with an amazing experience. Afterall, a person can go to any place to have something to eat, but not every place will provide their guests an amazing experience. It is this atmosphere Pepper Junction will strive to provide to our guests. It's not our goal to sell anyone a product they do not want, Pepper Junction wishes our guests to have a product that is right for them. That said, the sauces at Pepper Junction are not all knock your socks off type of heat, although we have it. Pepper Junction offers sauces that are more sweet with just a touch of zing no spicier than horseradish to compliment Mexican food. I call sauces of this variety "every day sauces." You can step it up a notch with Habenerro based sauces as every day sauces as well, please visit our Bonfire page for a full selection. And let's not forget sauces with Inferno heat from the Naga Jolikia (Ghost) pepper and/or Scorpion Pepper, only for the truest of hot sauce fans!

Please browse the site I guarantee there's a condiment here for everyone. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Pepper Junction. Thank you for visiting.
